RECRUITMENT AND ASSESSMENT CENTRE (RAC)

RAC invites application for the following posts.

Scientist ‘E’
Number of positions : 01 post.
Payscale:Rs. 37,400-67,000 and Grade Pay Rs.8,700

Scientist ‘D’
Number of positions : 03 posts.
Payscale:Rs. 15,600-39,100 and Grade Pay Rs.7,600

Scientist ‘C’
Number of positions : 01 post.
Payscale:Rs. 15,600-39,100 and Grade Pay Rs.6,600

Qualification :
(i) At least first class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/ Master's
degree in Science in the concerned subject/discipline from a recognised university
or equivalent with Experience / specialisation as mentioned against each item.
(ii) At least 10 years Research or Design or Development or Production experience
for Scientist 'E, 7 years for Scientist 'D' ' and 3 years for Scientist 'C' as mentioned
against each item in the last column.
Weightage for higher qualification to be equated as research experience for
lateral recruitment is as under –
• Post Graduate Degree in Engg – Two Years.
• Doctorate Degree in Engg. – Four Years.
• Doctorate Degree in Science. – Three Years.
