Position :
Medical Officer (Orthopaedic Surgeon) in the grade of Scientific Officer/DPay Band + Grade Pay : Rs.15600+6600+NPA
Number of post : Two(02)
Qualification & Experience : MS/DNB in Orthopaedic Surgery from a recognised university.
Desirable : Minimum work experience of at least two years after qualification and special interest in Spine Related Surgery for one post in Trauma related surgery for the second post will be desirable. Computer knowledge will be essential for managing patients in OPD’s and OT’s.
Nature of work : Will need to handle patients needing secondary and tertiary orthopaedic referrals and perform trauma and orthopaedic surgeries independently. Will have to be on call duties and will have to take care of Orthopaedic emergencies, which will be part of the duties. Academic responsibility will include teaching DNB students as a Guide, Para Medical staff and others. In DNB accredited department, research projects in Liaison with Basic Science Departments with premier research institutions are encouraged.

Medical Officer (Nuclear Medicine) in the grade of Scientific Officer (D)Pay Band + Grade Pay : Rs.15600-39100 + 6600 (GP) + NPA

Qualification : MD (Nuclear Medicine) or DNB (Nuclear Medicine) or MD in Radiotherapy with DRM/DNM or MD in Radiodiagnosis with DRM/DNM or MD in Biophysics with DRM/DNM.
Nature of duties : 1. Clinical Nuclear Medicine Services: (a) Management of patients with thyroid diseases using diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures; (b) Advice, supervise & prepare report for in vivo nuclear medicine scans including SPECT & PET imaging; & (c)
Radionuclidic Therapies : As a Nuclear Medicine Physician he/she should be well versed with therapies
using isotopes.
2. Research & Development & Teaching : The selected officer shall be assigned to on-going R&D projects and he/she will also take part in the teaching programmes for nuclear medicine and nuclear medicine technology courses conducted at our Institute.

Medical Officer (General Duty Medical Officer/Casualty Medical Officer) in the grade of Scientific Officer (C)Pay Band + Grade Pay : Rs.15600-39100 + 5400(GP) + NPA.

Qualification & Experience : MBBS with one year institutional experience. Mandatory internship shall not be counted as experience. Candidates with Post Graduate qualification and equivalent need not apply.
Desirable : Candidates with Casualty experience and worked as GDMO/General Practice will be preferred. Basic Computer knowledge is preferable.
Nature of duties : 1) Attending to patients of all age groups & providing health care at the periphery level
2) Attending to routine aliments, chronic cases like Diabetes mellitus, Hypertension, Ischaemic Heart Disease, Tuberculoses, epilepsy etc.;
3) Follow-up of patients with chronic illnesses with regular monitoring & reference to hospital as and when required;
4) Management of emergencies at dispensary and after stabilization referring to hospital if necessary.
5) Data Entry in computer, including Genered case notes, diagnosis, online prescription, creating Service Order, Appointments etc.
6) Conducting preventive clinics like Well Baby clinic, Antenatal clinic, screening programmes and participation in academic activities.
7) The candidates will also have to work in the Casualty Department as Casualty Medical Officer as and when deployed.

Experience : 5 years as Sub-Officer for candidates without BE(Fire) qualification. Out of the total experience 3 years should be as Sub-Officer/A after obtaining the requisite qualification. (Note – (1) Experience should be in a well established Fire Service Organisation; (2) Should be conversant with the operation and maintenance of Fire Engines, Fire pumps and other fire fighting equipments.)
