1. Scientist 'G': 01 Post,Payscale :Rs,37,400-67,000+GP Rs.10,000,Qualification :  PhD in Earth Science or equivalent in domain areas of research undertaken in WIHG,Agelimit : 52 years.
2. Scientist 'F' :02 Posts,Payscale :Rs,37,400-67,000+GP Rs.8,900,Qualification :  PhD in Earth Science or equivalent in domain areas of research undertaken in WIHG,Agelimit : 50 years.
3. Technical Officer  : 01 Post, Payscale :Rs.15,600-39,100+GP Rs.5,400,Qualification :  M.Sc / B.E / /B.Tech or equivalent,Agelimit : 40 years.
4. Junior Technical Officer  :  03 Posts,Payscale :Rs.9,300-34,800+GP Rs.4,600,Qualification :  M.Sc /BE / B.Tech or equivalent or Diploma in Engineering/Technology of minimum three years/B.Sc,Agelimit : 35 years.
5. Senior Technical Assistant : 03 Posts, Payscale :Rs.9,300-34,800+GP Rs.4,200,Qualification :  M.Sc / BE / B.Tech or equivalent or Diploma in Engineering/Technology of minimum three years/B.Sc,Agelimit : 30 years.
