Fee :  A bank draft of Rs. 200/- towards application fee be sent along-with the downloaded application form (duly filled). The Application form and instruction sheet can be had from the office of Deputy Registrar (GA & Legal) on payment of Rs. 200/- by cash w.e.f. 22.10.2012 or by sending a Crossed Bank Draft of Rs. 250/- drawn in favour of Director, NIT Kurukshetra payable at SBI, NIT Kurukshetra.

National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra (founded as Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra) is a premier technical Institute in the region. Since 1963, like other Regional Engineering Colleges of India, this Institute too, had been a joint enterprise of the state and the central government. This Institute was conferred upon the status of deemed to be university, along with other Regional Engineering College on June 26, 2002. Since then it has been renamed as National Institute of Technology, Kuruksetra and is a centrally funded Institute. Recently, the Institute had been declared as Institution of national importance by MHRD, Government of India.

The Institute has earned prestige and glory by imparting high quality technical education, contributing to research, mentoring to other Institution in the region and serving to society. The completion of 50 years of its existence, is an important landmark in the history of the Institute.
The stakeholders of the Institute, mainly, the students, parents, alumni, employees will conduct/organize various activities and programs throughout the golden jubilee year.
