RECRUITMENT OF SCHOOL LIBRARIAN IN EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
Applications are invited from the residents of Union Territory of Puducherry for the post of
School Librarian in the Directorate of School Education, Puducherry.
School Librarian (Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted) : 19 Posts.
Payscale : Rs.9,300-34,800+Grade Pay Rs.4,600.
Agelimit : 30 years as on 12.10.2012.
Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University and Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognised University.Should have studied the particular regional language (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam) as one of subjects in the Secondary level. In respect of schools with medium of instruction in French, should have studied Brevet Elementaire de Francais.
