Qualification : The candidate should possess Certificate of Competency as Master(Foreign) Going). The candidate must have experience of 15 years in marine operations preferably in one or two major posts of which minimum 10 years experience should be as Pilot/Harbour Master and a minimum 5 years as deputy Port Conservator/Head of Marine Department. Experience in Private Port as Head of Marine Operations can also be considered. Capability to pilot vessels in case of emergency would be preferred.
Provided that minimum qualification is relaxable in the case of internal candidates with sound and adequate background and experience.
Agelimit:On the date of occurrence of vacancy
(i) Minimum 40 years.
(ii) Not more than 58 years for internal candidates and not more than 57 years for others. The age of superannuation is 60 years.
