Indian Ordnance Factories is the oldest and largest industrial setup which functions under the Department of Defence Production of the Ministry of Defence. The ordnance factories form an integrated base for indigenous production of defence hardware and equipment, with the primary objective of self reliance in equipping the armed forces with state of the art battlefield equipments.

Grade Pay: Rs.1800/-
Age Limit: Between 20 to 27 years as on the last date of closing of applications
Essential Qualification:
1. Must have passed Matriculation or equivalent pass.
2. Must be physically fit.
Desirable:
1. Ex-Servicemen
2. Three years service as Home Guard/Civil Defence Volunteers and training in at least basic and refresher Courses in Home Guard and Civil Defence.

2. Fireman : 02
Group: “C”
Pay Band: PB-1 (5200-20200)
Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-
Age Limit: Between 18 to 25 years as on the last date of closing of applications.
Essential Qualification:
1. Must have passed Matriculation.
2. Must have completed basic course on elementary fire-fighting from an recognized Institute.
3. Must be physically fit.
