CGARD is going to conduct a walk-in interview for the following posts.

Walk-in Date : 10/05/2013 (10 May 2013).

Project Engineer (GIS) : 01 Post,Qualification : M.Tech (Geospatial technologies/GIS/Remote Sensing (RS) Spatial Information Technology (SIT) / Geoinformatics) with 1 year Experience or M.Sc (Geo-informatics) with 2 years’ experience.,Experience : Candidates having 2 – 5 yrs experience in the use of GIS, RS Software and good knowledge of Open Source Software will be given preference. Experience in Applications of GIS, RS & GPS for Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of rural development programmes including watersheds and MGNREGS will be preferred. Should be in a position to do field work and interact with villagers in Kerala and also work at SIRD, Kerala and CGARD, NIRD, Hyderabad as and when required. Knowledge of Malayalam is essential.,Salary : 20,000 per month.

Project Engineer (Image Processing and GPS) : 01 Post,Qualification : M.Tech (Geospatial technologies/GIS/Remote Sensing (RS) Spatial Information Technology (SIT) / Geoinformatics) with 1 year Experience or M.Sc (Geo-informatics) with 2 years’ experience.,Experience : Candidates having 2 – 5 yrs experience in the use of GIS, RS Software and good knowledge of Open Source Software will be given preference. Dist. Level Field Co-ordinator : 01 Post,Qualification : MCA / Post Graduation in Mathematics, Statistics.,Experience : Candidates must have 2 years field experience in supervising data collection, data analysis, reporting and should be conversant in Malayalam.,Salary : 15,000 per month.

Senior Project Associate (GIS) : 01 Post,Qualification :Masters in Computer Science with 3 Yrs Exp and above or B.Sc (Comp.) / Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) with 5 Yrs Exp and above.,Experience : Experience in the use of Web based and GIS, RS Software is preferred. Strong knowledge on JAVA, Android .JSP, Servlet, Ajax, Json, XML, JAVA Script, HTML is essential. Should have experience in LINUX based server administration, Networking, Monitoring, Configuring and Managing Web Servers.,Salary : 30,000 per month.

Project Associate : 01 Post,qualification : Masters in Computer Science with 2 Years’ experience Or BCA/ B.Sc (Comp.) / B.Sc (Geography) with Diploma in Remote Sensing. Graduate Honrs. In Statistics, Mathematics with 3 Years’ experience.,Experience : Candidates must have working experience in GIS Projects and should be aware of the fundamental of database management and analysis.,Salary : 20,000 per month.
