SAIL invites application for the following posts.

• Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) : 300 Posts,Qualification : 3 years full time Diploma in engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Metallurgy/ Chemical/ Ceramics/ Civil, and Instrumentation discipline from Govt. Recognized Institute.,Payscale : For 1st year Rs.10,700/For Second year Rs.12,200 (Conslidated).,Agelimit : 28 years.
• Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation):05 Posts,Qualification : 3 years full time Diploma in engineering from Govt. Recognised Institute with 2nd Class or 1st Class Certificate of Boiler Competency,Payscale : For 1st year Rs.10,700/For Second year Rs.12,200 (Conslidated).,Agelimit : 30 years.
• Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) :300 Posts,Qualification : Matriculation and ITI in Fitter/ Welder/ Electrician/ Air conditioning /Refrigeration/ /Draughtsman/Machinist/Turner/ Instrument Mechanic/ Electronic Mechanic / IT & ESM trades from Govt. Recognised Institute.,Payscale : For 1st year Rs.10,700/For Second year Rs.12,200 (Conslidated).,Agelimit : 28 years.

Fee : Rs.250/- for the posts of Operator cum Technician and Rs.150/- for the posts of Attendant cum Technician Trainee  (Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) to be paid in State Bank of India through a payment challan.
